A brief history of Chatswood Sunrise Rotary


The Rotary Club of Willoughby was chartered on 10 September 1985. The inaugural charter meeting was held on [DATE]. The first President was Warwick Bateman, then and now a member of the Rotary Club of Chatswood, the Club that chartered Willoughby. 

Following proclamation of Willoughby as a City on 11 November 1989*, the club's name was changed to the Rotary Club of Willoughby City on [DATE 1992].

Up until [YEAR], the Club had met for lunch.

On [DATE], the Club changed its name to Rotary Club of Chatswood Sunrise and commenced meeting for breakfast.
