Engadine Rotary opening its membership to Young Rotarians

The Rotary Club of Engadine is introducing a new membership classification to cater for young adults . This is a limited membership by invitation for young adults between 22 and 32 years. it is introduced in recognition of the lifestyle of  today's young people and their limited available time.   

This new membership allows new Young Rotarians to participate in Rotary's many Community and humanitarian  projects and attend Rotary meetings on a fortnightly basis . Attendance at Rotary's community and humanitarian projects will count towards that obligation 

Young Rotarians may in time be invited to full membership of the Rotary Club Of Engadine Inc 

What are the benefits for a Young Rotarian.

Eligibity Criteria

Young Adults seeking membership to this new classification must be :

  1. Gainfully employed
  2. Show leadership potential
  3. Good community standing
  4. Male or female     

Prospective members will be interviewed for suitability by the Club's Young Rotarians Committee and invited to join subject to te approval of this Club's management Committee .

Mentors

Young Rotarian  members will be provided with mentors who will  be members of the Young Rotarians Committee of the club plus others members as required and will join them at club meetings.
 

Activities  

  1. Young Rotarians will be required to participate in Club activities

     

  2. Young Rotarians may even be able to conduct their service type projects which conform to Rotary's standards and have received approval from the Club's Management committee.
  3. Participate in Rotary's Community based projects eg Annual Carols for the People Concert .
  4. Fund Raising
  5. Social  Events
