Probus is a Rotary brand and only Rotary Clubs can form Probus clubs .
History of Probus
Probus commenced in the UK in 1965 and then migrated to New Zealand in 1974 followed by Australia in 1976. Today under the auspices of Probus Centre South Pacific there were as at June 2010 :-

As Indicated above the Provisional Probus Club of Engadine Central was formed on the 2nd March 2011- and is awaiting accreditation with the Probus Center South Pacfic after which It will receive its charter.
