DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL SKILLS
- Involvement leads to the development of one’s personality, social and people skills. Rotary is for people who like people, or who would like to.
FAMILY PROGRAMS
- Apart from the multitude of club social activities which can involve family members Rotary offers a range of youth and young adult programs, support for schools and community youth and social groups through which all can benefit
VOCATIONAL SKILLS
- As a Rotarian, you are expected to take part in the growth and development of your own calling. Rotary can help to make you a better professional or businessperson.
THE DEVELOPMENT OF ETHICS
- Rotarians practice the 4-way test: Ethical behaviour in business and personal relationships is expected of you.
CULTURAL AWARENESS
- Rotary provides access to a cross section of the world’s population - almost every religion, nationality, race, creed, political persuasion, language, colour and ethnic identity is represented.
PRESTIGE
- Rotarians are prominent members of their community: they represent all sectors of society - professions, the arts, military, business, religion, disciplines etc. Rotary is the oldest and most prestigious civic service organisation. Its members are decision makers who can influence policy!
NICE PEOPLE
