Glenn was a member of the Rotary Clubs of North Sydney & Drummoyne before joining Haberfield in 2000. He has held every Club board position including President in 2000-1. He has served on 8 District Committees, as Assistant Governor in 2006-7, District Secretary in 2001-2, Ambassadorial Scholar Counsellor, Regional Director of Rotary’s Australian Corporate Alliance Program and Vice President Australia of Rotary’s International Travel & Hosting Fellowship.

In addition to Rotary he has been Chairman of the Children’s Cochlear Implant Centre and a Director of the Australian Pork Corporation, Business Enterprise Centres NSW, Mitchell Association of Student Councils, International Conference on Quality Management Research, University of Western Sydney Faculty of Business Industry Advisory Board, Telstra Child Flight & Central Sydney Area Health Service. He is currently a Director of Interplast ANZ, a founding Trustee of the Australian Cord Blood Bank and a member of Variety Australia & The Podmore Foundation. In 2002 Glenn & Fern attended the Polio Eradication Conference in Mumbai and participated in the National Immunisation Day.

They also attended RI Conventions in Brisbane & Chicago. Glenn received the Four Avenues of Service Citation in 2001, Paul Harris Fellow recognition & the RI President’s Service Above Self Award in 2002, & was recognised with a sapphire pin in 2004. For 30 years Glenn was in senior management in various industries & government departments. He has a Master of Business Administration & a Graduate Certificate in Law.

His other interests include skiing & travelling. He is strongly supported by his wife Fern who is Manager Major Projects for Multiple Sclerosis Australia. Fern is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Haberfield, has served on 4 District Committees & as District Governor’s Aide in 2001-2, District Club Administration Chair in 2007-8 and was recognised as a Paul Harris Fellow in 2003. They have 5 children & 9 grandchildren. They have hosted 7 exchange students and their son Luke was an exchange student to Germany in 2004.
