Murray Bridge Family wins Boat Raffle 2015.

The annual Rotary Club of Encounter Bay Boat Raffle was drawn on Thursday night the 6th of March.

The winner, a resident of Murray Bridge met with President Gill Houlihan at Pelican Marine, Saturday 15th to take delivery of his new boat.

Mr Charles Vorobyov was accompanied by his wife Kathryn, and children, Savannah, aged 11 and Christian aged 7.  It was apparent from the actions of the two children, that this was a very popular win for a family that enjoys fishing both in the river and on the coast. Savannah and Christian hopped in the boat and immediately looked at home. Mr Vorobyov, a regular supporter of the raffle, expressed his thanks to the Rotary Club of Encounter Bay and Pelican Marine for providing the chance to win a very popular prize.

The Club also would like to express their thanks to Pelican Marine for their support, to Phil Hoffman Travel who provided second prize, Michael Pengilly MP and Subway Victor Harbor who were sponsors of the raffle.
