Hello Members,

There are 34,000 Rotary clubs worldwide where members volunteer in communities at home and abroad to support

  • education and job training,
  • provide clean water,
  • combat hunger,
  • improve health and sanitation,
  • and eradicate Polio and Malaria.
We are part of an organisation of 1.2 million members who believe in a commitment to Service Above Self. We are 108 years old and open to people of all cultures and ethnicities and almost all countries of the world.

Paul Harris, our founder, said in 1945, “I would like to think that the pioneering days of Rotary have only just begun. What’s 40 years in the life of a great movement?  There are just as many new things to be done as ever there were.”

The Rotary Club of Encounter Bay is committed to making a difference locally, Australia wide, and across International boundaries.

As incoming President, I will do my best to maintain and develop our ideals and continue the good work of Rotary within our club.
