The Rotary Club of Encounter Bay holds the licence to manage the Port Elliot Rotary Markets.

The market is held at Lakala Reserve, Young Street, Port Elliot, a pleasant location within walking distance of the main street, which boasts a lake with ducks and other bird life. There is also a small children's playground and barbecue facilities.

The market is a typical country market with plenty of fresh local produce on offer as well as a good mix of other goods such as, bric-a-brac, collectables, plants, books, hats, crafts, homemade pickles, jams and relishes. You can also sit and relax whilst enjoying a delicious cappuccino for you morning tea break or maybe a sausage from the barbecue and a soft drink for lunch. There is something here for everyone.

CHRISTMAS HAMPER HITS THE MARK AT PT. ELLIOT MARKET

On the last Pt Elliot market before Christmas, 32 stall holders and the Rotary Club of Encounter Bay contributed goods for a large hamper which included a wheelbarrow courtesy of Bunnings, Seaford.  Every customer at the market received a raffle ticket for their chance to win the prize.

Despite unfavourable weather conditions, many of the market goers remained at the market hoping to win the Christmas Hamper which was drawn at 11.30 and the winner needed to be on site to collect the prize.

On the 1st ticket drawn, a very lucky Sharon Caridi from Newton took home the prize.
