Vocational Scholarship Information

The Rotary Club of Loxton has announced a Rotary Vocational Scholarship valued at $10,000 over two years.  

This is a new initiative of the Rotary Club, designed to create an opportunity for young people wishing to undertake a Vocational Study Course (Degree) to attend a South Australian University.   

The scholarship holder will be selected on academic merit, vocational commitment and community involvement.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they meet the prescribed Selection Criteria as outlined in the Scholarship Application Package.

A Selection Panel will be convened to assess the Applications for eligibility and merit. 

Applications are open until Friday January 17th 2020 at 5.00pm.

The Applicants who have been granted an interview after meeting eligibility criteria will be notified during March 2020 and the successful awardee notified by 20th March 2020 subject to the award conditions.

Applications will be considered from those applicants who currently reside in the Loxton - Brown’s Well District and most likely attended Loxton High School.  Mature age students may apply. 

Applicants will need an ATAR of at least 80, acceptance to a vocational degree course in 2020 and a demonstrated community and vocational commitment to regional South Australia.
