About the Grants

The Rotary Club of Mount Barker is a local community based service club, made up of dedicated community members, donating their time to raise funds to spend in our local community, Australia wide & internationally.  Rotarians are normal community members, who generously work together to aid those in need.

Over the past years, we have participated in a wide variety of activities:

  • cooking donuts at the Royal Adelaide show and Lobethal Lights, Clipsal 500
  • BBQ’s
  • ·organized events including the Mount Barker 175th Anniversary Dinner
  • funded local at risk young adults to attend Operation Flinders
  • contributed towards the building of the new toilets at Mount Barker cemetery
  • facilitated & volunteered at the “In the Raw” festival
  • hosted an ICE and Domestic Violence forums in Mount Barker
  • assisted many local groups to provide Christmas hampers to those in need in our community.

The Club needs to hear from members of our local community, not for profit groups, environmental groups and individuals about community projects that you feel could be supported by Rotary Club of Mount Barker.  Hence it is with excitement that the club is launching The Rotary Club of Mount Barker Community Grant program 2017.

We encourage you to tell us about a great community project we should get involved in and look forward to your application. If successful you will be asked to come and speak to the members of the Rotary Club of Mount Barker.
