Local Charities

Our club is a strong supporter of many local charities and organizations and we are always on the lookout to lend a helping hand in our local area. Whether it be established charities & organizations or simply helping a struggling family in need, we are here to help and to serve. Here are some of the organizations we support.

Hutt St Centre is a place of hope and opportunity, helping people facing homelessness to rebuild their lives, without judgement.

Each year Hutt St Centre serves around 50,000 meals and offers social work and support services to nearly 2,000 people. Showers, laundry facilities, visiting health professionals, an aged city living program for our older clients, recreation activities, education and training, legal aid and assistance with finding housing are all services provided to the 200 plus homeless people who visit Hutt St Centre each day.

Based in Adelaide, South Australia, Tutti is an inclusive multi arts organisation creating opportunities for artists with disabilities to make Extraordinary Art. The collaborative relationship between participants, professional artists and the wider community supports the development of talent across a range of creative disciplines including film and new media.

Tutti is dedicated to bringing people together through the arts, without letting disability or disadvantage get in the way.

Tutti’s programs break down barriers that isolate and marginalise, providing opportunities for people to participate in professionally led programs. These produce and present high quality work which has attracted national and international recognition.

Tutti offers aspiring and emerging artists with a disability ongoing professional training across a range of artistic disciplines and works to create pathways into the arts industry so that artists can earn income from their work.

Mary's Kitchen

Mary's Kitchen operates from St.Andrew's Hall, Jetty Road, Glenelg ( through the courtyard alongside the church).

It provides soup, bread, baked potatoes, cakes, tea and coffee and fellowship for those in need. Many who use this service may not have eaten for days and welcome the food and understanding they receive from others there. Many come as it is their only outing for the week and a chance to meet up and talk with others.

Tuesdays 6pm - 7:30pm.
