About Eastwood-Gladesville Rotary (The Friendly Club)

The Rotary Club of Eastwood was formed in October 1967 and the Rotary Club of Gladesville was formed in November 1977. On 19th November 2016, the two clubs amalgamated to form the Rotary Club of Eastwood-Gladesville. The new Club meets each Monday night, alternately via Zoom and on site at the Bayview Hotel, Gladesville, starting at 6.30 pm. Our meetings usually finish before 8.30 pm and at most meetings we have a guest speaker. These speakers are from various organisations and are very informative. At other meetings, the activities of the club are planned.

Members of Eastwood-Gladesville Rotary have Rotary Classifications, and represent many vocations such as law, dentistry, building, surveying, retailing, engineering, travel and insurance to name just a few. Our members, both male and female, also represent many different nationalities.

Rotary is not a secret society and visitors are always welcome. The basis of Eastwood-Gladesville Rotary, as with all Rotary Clubs, is a group of business people who wish to put something back into their community. We offer a network of like-minded men and women from industrial and commercial organisations with an interest in serving their local and international community.

Eastwood-Gladesville Rotary Club is not a large Club, but is friendly and enthusiastic, taking part in many local, national and international activities and projects, and is proud to be of service within the Gladesville, Eastwood and surrounding community.
