The Rotary Club of Chatswood Sunrise participates in the Rotary Bowelscan project by coordinating a group of local pharmacies. The Club supplies each partricipating chemist with explanatory leaflets and inexpensive home test kits for sale, and later collects the samples for delivery to the pathologist for analysis.
The object of the annual bowel cancer awareness campaign is to develop a Community Awareness of the nature of Bowel cancer, and early detection of potential or actual bowel cancer.
