Please help Rotary keep the Flying Doctor Flying

Add this to your Conference trip

The Flying Doctor Service needs donations to be able to help 90,000 Queenslanders each year.

Donations can be cash or in-kind. The Rotary eClub of NextGen is calling for donations of your time and skills to help save costs by rejuvenating Flying Doctor houses as a voluntary service activity.

In April and May volunteers are going to Mt Isa to continue refurbishing houses by repainting in modern colours, redecorating, fixing, cleaning and landscaping. Just as a handyman does at your home.  All materials and tools are provided.

Make plans to visit Mt Isa before or after your Longreach District Conference. This time may be part of your holiday and you can stay at a Caravan Park at $50 weekly powered site rate or in a free shared Flying Doctor house. Meet the staff, inspect a Plane, create another memory and have a lot of fun working at your own pace when you wish each day. Fly in and we will transfer you. Bring a friend, donate your skills and help save maintenance costs of our iconic Flying Doctor Service.

This is a great example of a service organisation like Rotary serving a service organisation like the flying doctor. We all are safer for knowing our flying Doctor is outback with us.
