Group Study Exchange (GSE) and Vocational Training Teams (VTT)

Group Study Exchange (GSE)

The Group Study Exchange (GSE) program of The Rotary Foundation was a unique cultural and vocational exchange opportunity for young business and professional men and women between the ages of 25 and 40 and in the early years of their professional lives.

The program ran from 1961 until June 2013 when GSE teams were replaced by Vocational Training Teams (VTT).

The GSE program allowed for teams of four or five members and a Rotary leader to exchange visits between paired areas in different countries for four to six weeks with the Rotary Foundation providing fares and team members being hosted by local Rotarians.

Vocational Training Teams (VTT)

Vocational Training Teams allow more flexibility with team members having a common interest or purpose allowing them to support one or more of the 6 major areas of focus of the Rotary Foundation.

VTT teams are usually associated with a Rotary Foundation Global Grant and providing additional support and training. Teams can vary in size and also have Rotarian members.
