Village Sanitation Project Nepal
2007-2010
Aim
To
improve sanitation and hygiene for a rural village in Nepal, population 400,
cultural group Tamang, by
· construction
and installation of toilets into approximately 70 households
· using
septic or biogas systems, as appropriate
· using
local expertise and labour
· improving
access to quality drinking water
· education
on sanitation and hygiene.

Donations

Donations for the project were made to RAWCS Eastern Region Overseas Aid Fund,
which passed all funds received into the project. Donations are tax deductible.
The major donors for this project were Healthabitat Australia, Rotary
Australia and private donors.
All donors were "matched" to
a recipient family, and received project reports and newsletters.
