Riverland & Mallee Vocational Awards for 2016 Winners announced

The 2016 Riverland & Mallee Vocational Awards now in its 34th year, held at the Berri Hotel on Friday night with over 250
attending saw Cody Milne awarded the 2016 Apprentice of the Year and Data & Voice Communications category awards.

Cody is enrolled as an Apprentice in Data & Voice Communications and his overall commitment on all levels is outstanding.
His problem solving, innovative and forward thinking is adding value to both his employer and customers and suggests
he has a very bright future in the communications industry.

Cody follows in the footsteps of many young talented Apprentices as the 2016 Riverland Apprentice of the Year.

Other winners on the night included Trainee of the Year, Casey Cocks of Pure Skin, Beauty and Spa, School based
Trainee, Tayla Kingham of Glossop High School, School based Apprentice of the Year, Chernoa Morrow of Loxton High
School, and VET student of the Year, Erica Austria of Waikerie High School.

The successful night, largely due to the high caliber of finalists and genuine support of sponsors to the awards is considered
to be the largest of its kind in regional Australia and is hosted by the Rotary Club of Berri.
