Riverland & Mallee Vocational Awards for 2016 now open

   Published: Thursday, 15 September 2016

The Rotary Club of Berri is pleased to announce that applications for the Riverland and Mallee Vocational Awards for 2016 are now open.

The Riverland and Mallee Vocational Awards started in 1982 as a project of the Rotary Club of Renmark. The Rotary Club of Berri became custodian of the Awards in 2011.

The aim of the Awards is to acknowledge and reward individuals that have excelled in their apprenticeship or traineeship. They have the opportunity to be recognised for their potential, enhance their profile and build their career.

Eligibility requirements for the Riverland & Mallee Vocational Awards are as follows:

Apprentice of the Year must be in their third or final year during 2016.

Trainee of the Year must have completed 6 months of their traineeship at the time of application.

Awards Co-ordinator Bruce Richardson of the Rotary Club of Berri said the Awards have become a Riverland Institution and it is important for our young achievers to be recognised. We look forward to this event with the anticipation that businesses from the region will submit nominations, to recognise the achievements of their apprentices and trainees.

The Awards Presentation Dinner will be held at the Berri Resort Hotel on Friday, 10th February 2017.

Application Forms are available by selecting the form as follows:

              Apprentice and Trainee form
