OUR CLUB: The Rotary Club of Yankalilla is only small but we are active and achieve some big things. The Area we cover includes Myponga, Yankalilla, Normanville, Carickalinga, Second Valley and Cape Jervis. It is a very picturesque part of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

We meet every Tuesday night at 6.30 pm for a 7.00 pm start at the Court House Restaurant , Normanville. You are assured of a warm welcome and an excellent meal at a reasonable price. For catering purposes, please let secretary Des Chilton on 4088249918 by 1.00 pm on the day if you are attending a meeting.

ACTIVITIES:

Shannons Yankalilla Cruise: This is our major event/fund raiser. It is a car cruise for pre 80's classic custom and hot-rods. In 2012 the event attracted over 600 cars and was attended by over 4000 people. It also provided a major boost for major businesses.

This year we are planning to stage an even bigger and better event. It is scheduled for Sunday 17th November 2013. For more information click here.

Historical Plaques: The local historical Society has been successful in obtaining a grant from History SA to place 10 historical plaques around the district. The club is supplying and installing the plaques. We expect work to be completed in May 2013.

Support for Local Community Groups, Clubs and Schools. We actively support the Leafy Sea Dragon Festival, Normanville Surf Life Saving Club, Yankalilla Fun Run, Books and Words Group, Local Schools, Pre-schools and Libraries.

To strengthen our club and to assist others we would welcome new members.
