Rotary and Ethics

Encouraging high ethical standards and respect for all worthy vocations has been a hallmark of Rotary from its earliest days. In their business and professional lives, Rotarians abide by The Four-Way Test:
Of the things we think, say or do

  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Terrigal is a club situated in a beach side suburb of the Central Coast of N.S.W. The suburb is made up of holiday makers, small businesses, working commuters to Sydney and retirees. The spectrum of housing ranges from modest homes and units to exclusive mansions and the upmarket Crown Plaza. Terrigal Rotary Club caters for the supply of its own meals, which makes it a bit unique in Rotary circles. Weekly meals normally consist of two courses. The main is prime steak, pepper sauce, vegetables and chips. Winters second course is soup and the summer dish is dessert.  Visitors are most welcome to attend our meetings. Meal prices are $25.00.  We also have an informal BBQ once a month.
