Water and Sanitation Project in Timor Leste

Thanks to the commitment of 29 Rotary clubs in District 9520, 325 people living in the villages of Glai and Lebuae, just one hour from Dili, have access to clean water and a sustainable sanitation system.  Life expectancy has improved as has the productivity of the villages - women now spend time growing crops and the children attend school.  The first steps to a life beyond poverty have been taken thanks to Rotary. Read more in the attached Newsletter.

 The Art of Rotary

Many Rotary Clubs conduct very successful art shows.  The 31st Victor Harbor Art Show attracted 1,576 entries valued at almost $1.4 million and has become Australia's largest regional art show.  But just as important is the way Rotary then further assists local, national and international projects, with profits from these community programs.
