Message from District Governor David Brawn
On behalf of my District Leadership Team and the 52 Presidents of the Rotary Clubs in our District, I would like to welcome you to our District website. It is designed to help you find interesting and useful information about the great things that Rotary International is doing for local communities in Australia and worldwide.
If you are new to Rotary or our District take time to find out about the many wonderful programmes we conduct in the following areas:
• Community Service – addressing community needs in our local areas
• New Generations – supporting young people in many ways
• Vocational Service – recognising individual’s excellence in the workplace
• International Service – doing good in the World supporting disadvantaged people
In addition, you will find information about our Rotary Foundation which supports many worthwhile humanitarian aid programmes around the World and provides many opportunities for international cultural and educational exchanges for young people. In particular, the Foundation has spearheaded the eradication of Polio over the last 25 years with great success.
To Rotarians and Non-Rotarians alike, I hope you find our website a valuable information resource.
