"Friends of Rotary”
The Rotary Club of Mobilong's - Membership Initiative

Offers civic minded business people who are time poor an opportunity to align with a Rotary Club and in so doing, contribute to the social capital of this community.

Friends commit to an annual sponsorship of $250, in return their Business names and logos are promoted on the Club's web site & in its bulletin. Friends and their family are welcomes participants at all meetings, social functions and at any working bee, project or event.
Friends receive a booklet providing them with background information on Rotary, the Foundation and Mobilong's work within the community,along with a framed wheel and certificate to display in their workplace.

Vocational Director, Alastair Watson carries on the project commenced under Rennis Lodewikus who,when challenged by then District Governor Malcolm Lindquist about what he could do to make a difference,
developed the idea of engaging those who could not commit to joining Rotary due to time and work constraints.
