Rotarian Ted Cragg with pharmacist Wendy Wong
The Rotary Club of Dee Why Warringah delivered Rotary BowelCare test kits to pharmacies in our area. BowelCare is a not-for-profit Rotary community service which provides an affordable annual bowel screening program.
Australia has the world's highest incidence of bowel cancer – 1 in 12, both men and women, will be diagnosed with bowel cancer by the age 85. The procedure is simple, test samples and results are returned by mail. The program runs during April and May. Kits cost just $15.
