Red Centre Tag Along Tour 2014

Commencing July 26th  2014 at St George this 37 day guided trip finishes August 31st 2014 but you can join in and leave any time you wish. The 6300 kilometre circuit trip is packed with a diverse range of scenery, information, history, new friendships and real outback life situations, vistas and characters.

Travel to Dirranbandi, Cubbie Station, Lightening Ridge opals, Working cattle station, Burke wharf on the Darling River, Fred Hollows cemetery, and meet up with more travellers at Cobar and on via an overnight roadhouse to Broken Hill and on to the amazing Finders ranges.

Through Hawker, Port Augusta, Woomera to Coober Pedy where special experiences unfold. Next Uluru, Olga’s, Kings Canyon and the ancient Fink River are to be experienced and filmed.

Alice Springs holds much diversity from art and arid gardens to parades and sandy boat races, John Flynn’s memorial, to the ghost gums and the stark Stanley Ranges. We will engage with locals and reluctantly move on to the Devils Marbles in the North then drive to breakfast Battery Hill.

Then Eastward across cattle country of Barkly Tablelands back to Queensland’s Camooweal and the mighty chimney that is Mt Isa’s landmark in the skeletal ore rich hills. Check out our eClub Flying Doctor Service house rejuvenation project, hanger and King Air Flying Doctor planes, Moondarra dam and on to historic Cloncurry past Mary Kathleen mine. Back to the start via dinosaur country, channel country of Winton, Longreach, Emerald and Carnarvon Gorge.

If you would like to join our small band of travellers who get as much enjoyment out of the passing scenery on the road as when parked up in free camps or classy van parks, care for each other and share a dream, a story and friendly yarn, then give us a call or email.
