This is a major fundraising event for the Magill Rotary Club’s “Challenge of Oecusse” project which supports the eradication of leprosy in Timor-Leste.
“A Taste of Timor” is on Saturday 25th October at the Campbelltown Function Centre.
Those attending will gain insight into the culture, history, music and cuisine of Timor-Leste, and learn about the leprosy eradication program which our Rotary Club supports.

Leprosy is a disease associated with extreme poverty, overcrowding and poor sanitation. However, it can be cured.
Since the District of Oecusse is rugged and remote, the challenge is to identify leprosy cases early so that nerve damage, often resulting in permanent disability to hands, feet and eyes, does not occur.
We would love you to join us and take up the challenge.
